first blog post of 2015, no excuses, I'm really going to try and get into this more!
So I've been interning as part of my degree at a brand called Mary & Milly.
The owner, Poppy, started M&M (named after her two big style icons - her Grandmas), after she graduated from UCLan in 2011, and started with pop up shops in Universities around the North West. She soon started selling clothes on ASOS marketplace and doing home parties, and then, 10 weeks ago, in Preston city centre, she opened her first boutique! I've had the pleasure of working there since the first week and it's such an amazing little shop filled with personality, and just lovely to be in!
Anyway, on Tuesday we held a special Bloggers event in store! We invited Preston and local bloggers, people we thought would really fit with the brand and it was a great turnout with 10 bloggers!
It was a great chance for everyone to meet each other, get some contacts, make friends, have a drink or two in a fab environment and learn all about Mary & Milly!
I had so much fun putting the goody bags together and helping choose what refreshments to have! We went with super cute popcorn in American Popcorn tubs and M&Ms in ice cream tubs!!
